2026-2027 Placentino School Registration Information
 

At Placentino School, we believe children thrive when they are supported in a caring, inclusive environment that nurtures the whole child. Our Preschool through Grade 2 programs provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences designed to support students’ growth across all areas—social, emotional, academic, and physical.

Through play, exploration, and purposeful instruction, students build strong foundations in early literacy, mathematics, and social skills, while developing confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

2026-2027 Registration Information

  • Online registration for incoming Preschool and Kindergarten students has closed. Please contact Maureen Ohnemus in the front office for further assistance with registration at 508-429-0647 X1202 or ohnemusm@holliston.k12.ma.us.
  • Children who are eligible for Kindergarten in September must be 5 years old by September 1, 2026.

    • We recently held our Kindergarten Information Night for families of incoming students. If you were unable to attend, we invite you to view the recording to learn more about our Kindergarten program. The session includes an overview of our curriculum, information about the registration process, and a look at what families can expect as their child begins Kindergarten.

2026-2027 Registration Checklist 

  • Complete the online registration form 

You will need the following documents to upload with your registration form:

  • Student's Birth Certificate 
  • Documents for Residency Verification:
    • If you own the property you reside in, we require:
      • Copy of most recent property tax bill, water bill, or mortgage statement
      • AND
      • Copy of most recent utility bill (cable, electric, phone, car insurance)
    • If you lease/rent the property you reside in, we require:
      • Copy of an updated lease
      • AND
      • Copy of recent utility bill in your name (cable, electric, phone, car insurance)
    • If you are living with a Holliston Resident, we require:
      • Notarized letter from the property owner stating the child is currently living at their Holliston address
      • AND
      • Copy of the property owner’s most recent property tax bill, water bill, or mortgage statement
      • AND
      • Copy of the most recent car insurance bill, phone, or credit card bill in your name, mailed to you at the Holliston address.
  • Health Records: 
    • Please submit a recent physical exam (health form for school/daycare/camp) within a year of the school start date. This includes a complete list of immunizations for kindergarten registration as required by the state, current exam plus, list of allergies and  physician's signature (electronic) with date (if your child has a scheduled physical between registration and September 1, 2026, please submit the most recent physical paperwork you have and then email/send updated documentation to our school nurses Catherine Harkin at harkinc@holliston.k12.ma.us and Sarah Holmes at holmess@holliston.k12.ma.us)
    • The following immunizations/results are required by the time your child begins school:
      • 5 doses of DTP
      • 4 doses of polio vaccine (IPV or OPV)
      • 2 doses of MMR
      • 3 doses of Hepatitis B
      • 2 doses of Varicella (Chickenpox) or documented history of Chickenpox
      • Lead Test Results
